Michael has worked in the financial services sector for over 30 years helping clients to create a strong financial future for themselves, their family and their business. Michael’s career as a Financial Adviser began at a well-known high street bank where he advised both commercial and personal clients providing holistic, tailored financial planning advice. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, tennis and golf.
Neil Swainson - BA (Hons), Dip CII, Cert CII (MP)
Director, Financial Planning Adviser, Pensions Transfer Specialist
Neil has been providing professional financial planning advice to clients for over 20 years. Like Michael, Neil has spent a large proportion of his career in both client advising and management roles at a well-known High St bank. Neil has a great deal of experience in helping clients build and protect their wealth for the benefit of their families. He also has particular expertise in helping business owners with their commercial financial planning needs. Out of work Neil enjoys spending time with his family, playing water polo, open water swimming and snowboarding.

Jo spent 22 years working for the NHS in a variety of roles – as a nurse, a midwife and an assistant practitioner in General Practice. In the Summer of 2017 she left the NHS to work alongside and support the team at Rutland Financial Services. Jo enjoys cooking, music and time with her family.

Sarah began her career as a marketing professional working in a variety of sectors including professional services. She now enjoys a varied role supporting Neil and Michael to ensure the smooth running and development of the business. Sarah enjoys running and yoga and spending time with her family.
